Dhagchen Sangey Tenzin
He was born in 1667 in the fire sheep year of the eleventh rabjung as the son of Father Sjabdrung si thar and Mother Padma Taleg in Zhedchoe. Possessed of kindness, compassion and bodhicitta he had no worldly/mundane behaviours/conducts. He got ordained in a ceremony which was presided over by his paternal uncle Dhagchen yeshe Sangpo as the presiding abbot, Jamgo Sangey Phuntsok as the activity in charge and Muepa Dharma King Kunga Gyatso as the revealer of secret along with the required number of sanghas for the ceremony. Under the supervision of these abbots, preceptors, and great abbot Lhundup Palden and so on several scholars and accomplished meditators completed deeper study on number of treatises belonging to sutra and mantras including precious lamdre teachings in the mode of learning which comprised of hearing and contemplation.
At twenty third year of age, in the earth female year he became the throne holder of Vajradhara Kunga Sangpo. To great assemblies of disciples and devotees in large areas including governmental land and upper and lower great seats of learning turned the wheel of dharma uninterruptedly on topics ranging from precious Lamdre teaching and ocean like sutra and mantra.
In brief, the entirety of the life of this master was spent in disseminating and popularising the teachings of the buddha.
In the year 1693 year, his consciousness went into dharmadhatu mode.
