Jamgon Tsultrim Lhundrub
He was born in 1676 in the fire dragon year of the 11th rabjung was born in dhartse do. He was named chag thar. Having gone to dodrag gar, he did his listening and contemplating. At 18th year of age, in the water bird, he came to ngor. Khenchen lhundub paldhen gave the name tsultrim lhundrub.
At 19th year of age, in the wooden dog year from jamgon sangyey Phuntsok he got ordained.
He received number of instructions of lesser and greater vehicle including Precious lamdre teachings etc. Further, having relied upon muepa choeje kunga Gyatso, sharpa yeshe Zangpo, dhagchen kunga tashi, great abbot jampa tsultrim palzang, matchless sonam paldhen etc many scholars and meditators he completed study of treatises of sutras and mantras. Completed many retreats (recitation and meditation) of number of tutelary deities including those of Hevajra.
At sixty-six years of age, as per the instructions of Jamgon Sonam Palden he remained in Rabgye Ling in Upper Ngari and passed his time building new shrines of three shrines and renovation activities. Increased the number of noble sanghas and through acts of teaching and debating worked for the greater benefits of dharma. At 50 years of age, during the wooden snake year he was appointed the dharma throne of Glorious Evampa. He took on the duties of the throne holder for five years and through the bestowal of Lamdre teachings five times etc illuminated the teachings of the Buddha. His disciples included Zhabdrung Namkha Samdrup, Sharpa Dhagchen Migyue Tenpei Gyaltsen, Khangsar Wonpo Sonam Lhundrup etc many great beings. Eventually at fifty-five year of age, in the Iron Dog Year of 1730 he passed away.
