Jampa Namkha Samdup Palsangpo
He was born in 1696 of the fire rat year of the 12th Rabjung as the son to father tse tashi and mother yangzom. He was given the name Padma. At 13 years of age, he came to evam and got involved in listening-contemplating. At 14 year of age, jampa tsultrim palzangpo as the abbot and activity-in charge matchless sonam paldhen and so on became ordained. He was given the name namkha samdrup palsangpo. At 19 year of age, sharchen lodoe dakpa as the abbot and activity-in charge and so on took the full ordination vows.
Lama Tenzin Lhundup, khenchen sonam sangpo, polung sonam choephel, gyarongpa sangyey tenpa and so on many scholars and meditation master received many dharma teachings. In particular, from vajradhara sonam paldhen, he received precious teaching of lamdre and so on several teachings of sutra and mantra. He nourished the seat of thartse and gave teachings. In particular he undertook number of meditational retreats including on deity hevajra and so on.
At 35 years of age, in the iron dog year he was appointed upon the dharma-throne ofvajradhara kunga Zangpo. He set in motion and turn the wheel of dharma number of times including lamdre three times.
Number of three vows given is beyond number. His disciples included ngagchang sonam rinchen father and son, zhabdrung ludingpa rinchen migyur gyaltsen, khangsar pon sonam lhundrup, khedrup paldhen choekyong amd so on number of scholars and meditation masters.
In the water on year, appointed paldhen choekyong as his substitute/regent. At last, on 59 years of age, in 1754 in the wooden dog year, he passed away in Evam Choedhen.
