Jamyang Kunga Tenpei Gyaltsen
He was born in in the year 1885 of wooden bird year of the 15th rab jung in the family line of dangti Sherab Senge as the father and mother connected with Sangdhag Chagdrol. From a very young age, came to Thartse Labrang of Ngorpa tradition. In the presence of his uncle khenchen jamyang rinchen offered the tuft of his hair. Memorised the 4 minor tantras. From that very khenchen, gradually through three verses took the full ordination. Generated bodhicitta via two specific attributes of lineages. Heard a vast number of oral transmissions, blessings of ripening and liberation etc of precious lamdre teachings. From eminent scholars and meditation masters such as nalandra abbot Nyendak Tharpa and so on heard and contemplated upon sutra, mantra, and poetry etc. Completed meditational retreats of number of tutelary deities including Shree Hevajra. Having ascended upon the throne of victorious vajradhara, he turned the wheel of dharma uninterruptedly for ocean like disciples. Worked for the benefit of sentient beings and dharma via placing many disciples to the states of ripening and liberation. Eventually, at sixty-eight years of age in the year 1952 of the water dragon year of sixteenth rabjung, he passed away peacefully.
