Je Muechen Sangye Rinchen
He was born as the son of father konchok phel and mother choekyong gyalmo in the year 1453 (water bird year 8th Rabjung). At 11 years of age, he became a renounced under Konchok Gyaltsen, the great being and was given the name Sangye Rinchen. From this eminent dhama teacher he received the complete pithy instruction teachings of Path Including the Result (Lamdre), thrice. At 28 years of age, he took the ordination of fully ordained monk in a ceremony presided by realised master Konchog Lodoe as the abbot and others including Lama Palden Gyalpo etc. Undertook guidance for eight years in Tanag under Kunkhyen Sonam Sengye from whom he learnt Vinaya, pramana, paramitas, bodhicharyaavatara, triple vows etc, in particular received Holy Teaching Lamdre three times etc. From Realised master Konchok Lhundrup received number of teachings including Lamdre six times. Furthermore, he gone to the other shore of ocean by relying upon and receiving other teachings from other eminent masters including Master Konchokphel, Karmapa Choedrak Gyatso etc.
Holy mind practice involved in the yogas of Lamdre teachings four sessions each day. Realisation of innumerable qualities of scholar, humble/noble and kindness achieved.
At sixty-one years of age, in Water Bird year of ninth Rabjung was appointed on the throne of Ngor Evam Choedhen. Also carried out number of dharmic activities at many monasteries in Central Tibet including at Upper and Lower monasteries of Mue, Nalendra, and Lo monastery. Turned the wheel of sublime dharma inconceivably including a total of 51 times LamDre teachings and so on.
His disciples included Kunga Choezang of Kyedtsal, Choeje Kunga Gyaltsen the throne holder of Serdhog, Choeje Thugje Palzang the throne holder of Thubten Yangpa Chen, Choehe Lhachok Senge the throne holder of Sangphu and Evam and so on.
His composition work included up to 40 works which included Liberation stories of Gurus, Commentary, Explanatory teachings. At sixty-six years of age in the fire cat year of ninth Rabjung handed over the throne of Ngor. At seventy-two years of age in 1524 (the Wooden Monkey year of Ninth Rabjung) he passed into Nirvana.
