Khangar Khenchen Ngawang Lodoe Zhen Phen Nyingpo
He was born in the year 1876 of the 15th Rabjung of Fire Rat year in Rong Men Thang. He was invited to Ngor Khangsar Palace and was given the honourable title of Zhabdrung. He undertook the study of always requiring sevent texts and so on via listening and contemplating modes of learning. He received the three kindness of the vows of novice monk, fully ordained monk and bodhisattva vows and precious Lamdre teachings from Khangsar Khenchen Ngawang Lodoe Nyingpo. Having travelled to Kham, he relied upon and received teachings from Khenchen Zhenga Rinpoche, Dezhung Choktrul Rinpoche, Loppon Loter Wangpo, Dagra Choekyi Nyima and so on countless scholars and realised masters.
He successfully completed hearing and contemplating of the meanings of Buddhist philosophy, Tibetan literature, precious lam dre teachings for disciples or lob shed, collection of tantras and collection of sadhanas.
At Ngor Evam, he was throne holding abbot for three years, disseminated many profound teachings including precious lamdre teachings and so on.
Furthermore, at the great seat of Sakya and the lower seat of Tsedhong, Tanag Thubten Namgyal, Serdhog Chen, Mue Tagmo Gon, Ngor Evam and so on places he bestowed Collection of Sadhanas, Collection of Tantras etc turned the wheel of dharma uninterruptedly.
His disciples included Great Throne holder of Sakya Drolma Place Ngawang Kunga Thegchen Palbar Thinlay Samphel Wanggi Gyalpo, Ngor Phenkahng abbot Ngawang Khedrup Gyatso, Luging Abbot Jamyang Thubten Lungtog Gyatso, Nalendra Chogye Trichen Thubtan Lekshed Gyatso, Khnagsar Khenpo Ngawang Khyentse Thubten Nyingpo, Sakya Monastery (the main monastery) Great abbot Jampal Zangpo, Tanag Great abbot Ngagi Wangchuk etc number of disciples occurred. Eventually, at seventy-seven years of age, in 1953 of the 16th rabjung of water snake year at Evam Khangsar Labrang he passed away peacefully.
