Khedrup Palden Dhondup
He was born in 1563 of the Water Pig year of ninth Rabjung in Do Upper Tsang Chudue Ngar as the son of Father Sonam Sherab and Mother Paldhen Budren. At 14 years of age, he arrived in Ngor and under Je Konchok Palden as the abbot and Loppon Kunga Chogdhen became renounced. He was given the name Pladen Dhondup.
At 29th year of age, Dangti Namkha Palsang as the abbot and Muechen Namkha Palzang as the preceptor and Choeje Ngawang Chogleg Dorje as the secret revealer and others he became a fully ordained monk. From these abbot and preceptors from Ralchen Paljor Sherab, Mantradhara Konchog lekzin, Tsedhong great throneholder Kunga Sonam, Jamyang Sangpo, Sharchen Kunga Tashi, Jed Sharchog Lama Sonam Lhundup. Je Wangchuk Rabten and so on received and completed of teachings marked by precious lamdre teachings. At Evam Choekhor oerformed the tasks of a tutor. At fifty-six years of age in the earth horse year was coronated upon as the throneholder of Ngorchen Vajradhara. To a great gathering of disciples gave teachings including precious lamdre teachings. Gave empowerment, oral transmission, pithy instructions etc number of others given.
His disciples include Sakya Dhagchen Thutop Wangchuk, two great abbots of Ngorpa, Great abbot Zodpa Gyatso the abbot of Thubten Namgyal and two dharma kings, Kyedtsal Khenchen upper and lateral, Choeje Tashi Gyatso etc many. Then in the water dog year having appointed Thartse Namkha Sangye as his regent from sixty-one of age for a duration of fourteen years remained in meditational retreat.
His compositions included the biography of Je Dangtipa, Commentrary on Guru Fifty and refutation of criticism of Lamdre etc number of texts. Eventually, at seventy-four years of age in 1636 year of Fire Rat of 11th Rabjung he passed away into Nirvana.
