Ngorchen Konchog Lhundrub
He was born in the year 1497 of fire snake of the eighth of Rabjung as the son of father siddha kundrub thar and mother mother Lhamo Budren at Tsang Sakya. At thirteen years of age, in Ngor, from eminent masters comprising Konchok Phel, Lowo Khenchen and so on became a monk. He was given the name Konchog Lhundrub. From the abbot of Muechen Sangye Rinchen, Je Jatangwa, Je Lhachok Senge, Choelungpa Thinlay Wangchuk and so on received full ordination vows.
From 25 to 37 years of age, as the tutor prospered the deeds of teaching. At 38th, in the wood horse year of ninth Rabjung, was appointed on the throne of EVAM. Has been the throne holder for twenty years. Prospered the noble deeds of teach, debate and composition through teaching Lam Dre thirty-three times and so on as well as maintained the nature of scholar, noble and disciplined. During this time, nearby and around the seat of Ngor, Nyangrong Mue, Central Nalendra etc., places turn the wheel of dharma.
His disciples included Sakyapa Jamyang Kunga Samdrub, Mantradhara Ngawang Kunga Rinchen, Panchen Lhawang Lodroe, Ngorchen Sangey Senge. Khenchen Kunga Lhundrub and so on. This master had number of disciples in the areas of Central, Tsang and Kham.
His total composition is hundred and seventeen seven which includes Zhung Shed (commentary of texts), namthar (liberation stories of masters), accounts of lineages and so on compiled in three large volumes. These works exist for the benefit of disciples. At Sixty-one years of age, in the year 1557 of Fire Snake of ninth Rabjung gathered his intentions into dharmadhatu.
