Palden Dorje, the scholar and the realised master

He was born in the year 1411 iron-hare of seventh rabjung at Glorious Sakya as the son of father Paljor Sangpo and mother Kyedpa Pal

He was given the name Dorje Sraten by Sazang Phagpa Lodoe. At 8 years of age, he got ordained as a novice monk under tashi Gyaltsen the dharma king of Mahayana, was given the name Palden Dorje.

At Shaksang, from Vajradhara received all pithy instructions including Vajramala. On the fifteenth he became ordained at Sakya. At Glorious Sakya from Gushi Namkha Zangpo the great son of Sharpa Yeshse Gyaltsen, Sazang Phagpa and Thegchen Choeje number of teachings including Ladre Teachings received.

At nineteenth year of age, earth water year, this master came to Ngor Evam and took the vows of fully ordained one.

Primarily at dharma place such as Ngamring travelled and from Jamyang Sangey Drub, Gunamati, Jegyalchokpa. Choeje Zhonnu Senge etc received complete teachings of Sutra and Mantra. Also, from Muepa, Khacharwa, Choeje Shargyam etc received many teachings resulting into his fame as a scholar reached everywhere. At the time when master Ngorpa passed away the seat of the Shaksang palace was bestowed to him. Disseminated the teachings of explanation and meditation marked by teaching of Lamdre teachingmore than thirty-three times at Sakya and Ngor in turn.

Earth Female Pig (earth female pig) year appointed on the throne of Vajradhara and caused great shower of dharma. At the year of water male tiger having handed over the seat of dharma to Kunkhyen Sonam Senge remained in single pointed concentration. Having produced number of disciples including Dhagchen (Great Self) Chumigpa Lodoe Gyaltsen eventually at the seventy-two years of age during eighth rabjung of water tiger year, year 1482 gathered realisation/intention into dharma sphere.
