Phenkhang Rinpoche Ngawang Thegchog Tenpei Gyaltsen

He was born around Deghe as the son to father Dawa Zangpo. At a very young age, Phen he was recognised as the reincarnation of Phen Khang great abbot. He was invited over to Phende Labdrang and was offered the title of a Zhabdrung.

He was born around Deghe as the son to father Dawa Zangpo. At a very young age, Phen he was recognised as the reincarnation of Phen Khang great abbot. He was invited over to Phende Labdrang and was offered the title of a Zhabdrung. Having sought the guidance of many eminent masters he completed unsurpassable level of hearing and contemplation over an ocean of philosophical texts. Due to receiving innumerable profound teachings including precious Lamdre, Bodhisattva vows and Pratimoksha vows etc from Khangsar Khenchen Thampa Rinpoche his mental continuum was completely endowed with three vows. He conducted and completed retreats on number of deities. As the regent of Victorious Kunga Zangpo he served three years as the abbot throne holder. Placed many sentient beings upon the path of ripening and liberation through the bestowal of three vows primarily teaching being Precious Lamdre teachings. Then, having visited many monasteries in the Eastern Tibet he became like the panacea for the dissemination of dharma and migrant sentient beings. Later, having travelled to Mue and lived in the area of Upper part he conducted unsurpassable noble deeds for the service of dharma and sentient beings. He manifested the physical body structure’s absorption into dharma sphere. (The birth and passing away date is uncertain).
