Thartse Khen Rinpoche Jamyang Kunsang Thubten Choekyi Gyaltsen

He was born in the family of Thartse Great Abbot Jamyang Kunsang Tenpei Gyaltsen’s sister ………………………… Zhika Chenpo Pedling . From a very young age, he was given the title of A zhabdrung and remained at the Thartse Labdrang. From his uncle great abbot Vajradhara received the kindness of Lamdre etc three vows. Also, having relied upon many other eminent teachers he listened to and contemplated the meanings of boundless texts of Sutra, Mantra, literary studies and Mantras. Successfully completed meditational retreats. Having arrived upon the throne of great vajradhara took the responsibility of the throne holder for three years. Later, when Thartse Khenpo Jampa Namkha Kunzang Tenpei Gyaltsen passed away this eminent master took the reign of abbot throne holder. Thus provided the service of a throne holding Khenpo for five years in total. Through  the bestowal of three vows via precious lam dre teachings countless number of fortunate disciples were placed upon the states or ripening and liberation. Having travelled to Kyegu Monastery in eastern Tibet for few times he performed inconceivable noble activities towards the benefit of dharma and sentient beings.

Then, in the water sheep year, he completed the construction of a new temple together with gochor etc number of other shrines in Ngor Evam Choedhen. In summary, The Great Victorious Evampa’s precious tradition was nourished at an unsurpassable level through the actualisation of spiritual and material achievements or contribution.

Finally, to display other realms and noble deeds for other disciples he manifested the physical body into the mode of dharmadhatu or the sphere of phenomena. (Uncertain about his birth and passing away dates).
