The supreme among the upholders of Glorious Sakyapa’s tradition in the land of snow, the great person, highly spoken about by the Buddha in the sutra, Great Ngorpa Vajradhara Kunga Zangpo born in the year 1383, who became the crown jewel of all scholars and siddhas of Tibet having relied upon Sharchen Yeshe Gyaltsen and Mahasiddha Buddhashri. He, in the year 1429, having established the Great Seat of the Glorious Ngor Evam Dharma Place and became an exalted one, like a second Buddha as far as causing benefit for dharma and sentient beings through his noble deeds.
After that, Mue-Chen Sempa Chenpo and Kunkhyen Gorampa and so on and their direct and indirect disciples: the successive throne holders nourished, managed, and propagated the seat of dharma through imparting teachings of Sutra and Mantra together with literature. Thus, it became an unsurpassable institution to undertake the study of dharma via the learning mode of hearing, contemplating, and meditating. In particular, until the time changed in Tibet, through successive scholars and meditators, at that very place of learning, complete and unmistaken teachings of Vajrayana were very much popularised and propagated via the mode of upholding, nourishment and dissemination of the dharma.
To an inconceivable number of fortunate disciples from India, Tibet, and Mongolia etc, like the galaxy of stars, were bestowed with empowerments, oral transmission and explanatory teachings and pithy instructions (technical) bestowed. Thus, to these disciples, this place became a place of learning superior to others and hence produced innumerable special beings who uphold the dharma that benefitted dharma and sentient beings. In Brief, the great dharma seat of Glorious Ngor Evam has turned out to be like the great learning place institutions existed in ancient times in India, the land of the Noble Ones. The institution's meritorious deeds have pervaded to far and wide places. The factual account of this in detail shall be read in other accounts.
