As it was said in the liberating life-story of Ngorchen Vajradhara Kunga Zangpo, ‘During the dharma time in summer and winter there are commentaries about sections of tantras, the sacred rituals comprising of mandala-based group practices and guided teachings on diverse levels such as precious Lam Dre teachings and so on. During autumn and spring season Vajramala and bestowal of dharma gifts without material wealth in the forms of empowerments etc as required’. As just mentioned, successive abbots from Ngorchen Vajrdhara onwards until now, there existed a noble tradition of uninterrupted turning of the wheel of dharma of many sutras and tantras known as summer dharma and winter dharma.
Since the establishment in exile, of this great seat of dharma, the Glorious Evampa, by the regent for Ngorchen Vajradhara, the late Supreme Refuge Ngor Luding Khenchen Vajradhara Jamyang Tenpei Nyima, the Supreme, Ngor Luding Khen Rinpoche Jamyang Choekyi Gyaltsen and Ngor Thartse Khen Rinpoche Ngawang Sonam, the Supreme as the core and the venerable khenpos and zhabrungs continue to turn the wheel of dharma. Notably, The Refuge and Guide, His Holiness the Sakya Trichen, the supreme 41st throne holder of Sakyapa school and the 42nd throne holder of Sakyapa School as the core and many other eminent masters have bestowed their kindness in the forms of many teachings and empowerments including the profound Collection of Tantras etc.
